We introduce ourselves

My name is Vanessa Nieri, I was born in Florence which, with a hint of presumption, I have always considered a privilege. I am very proud to have grown up in this wonderful Tuscan land and to have belonged to a Florentine family for generations.

It has always been natural for me to love my city and to admire the marvels that make it unique with astonished eyes. It has also been natural for me to want to learn more about it, so that I myself can become a disseminator of the history and beauty of the immense artistic and cultural heritage that makes Florence one of the most beautiful cities in the world and a popular destination for curious and passionate visitors.

After graduating from high school, I went on to study foreign languages at the Faculty of Education in Florence, obtaining a degree in Russian and French language and literature.

The qualification to work as a tourist guide in Florence, obtained from the Region of Tuscany, was the crowning achievement of my training, allowing me to carry out this activity since 1996.

Thanks to my experience, I founded TopFlorenceTours to offer unique tours with certified guides in Italian, Russian, French and English.

Travelling in Italy cannot be separated from coming or returning to Florence.

Annalisa Dell'Omo Busoni

Originally from the Devil’s Valley in Tuscany, I left my charming little town nestled in the green hills of the Cecina Valley to move to the city of Dante! Florence welcomed me with open arms with its good humor, sarcasm and irony. San Frediano then, in Oltrarno, became my neighborhood and my place of the heart.

I received my Master’s Degree in Humanities with a major in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Florence. After various periods of study abroad in France, Belgium and Germany, perhaps ready to wander the world, it was impossible for me to leave so much beauty and here I decided to build my future and my family.

Florence captured me and never let me go!

Breathing in the charm and grandeur of the past inevitably led me to the desire to study art, and in 2009 I took the qualification of Tourist Guide of Florence and Province issued by the Region of Tuscany.

It is an honor for me to live in this city that adopted me 30 years ago now! Every day strolling through its narrow streets, arriving in the little squares that suddenly open up amidst the scents of lampredotto and freshly baked schiacciata, and then swooping into Piazza Duomo and feeling a perpetual thump in my heart in front of so much beauty, that’s it! all of this is a beautiful suave poetry that I try to convey every day.
